We are excited to finally announce that we will be going to China to get our baby girl in January or February. We received our match on my birthday (October 26), which we believe God arranged perfectly. Her name is Kaylee Elizabeth Qiu Baroni and she is 9 months old. Her birthday is February 2 and she is in foster care. Our family is very excited especially the boys...looks like the pink will be joining footballs, LEGOS, and soccer cleats.
Yay!! We are so happy to see your wait coming to an end. She is beautiful! So thankful to an awesome God who has orchestrated this from the beginning of time.

ReplyDeleteMark and Stacie --- we are so happy for you! We were in China 4 years ago and visiting the Gen. Stilwell Museum in Chongqing. There we encountered about 12 families who were being allowed to meet their "prospective" adoptive babies for the first time (it was sort of a trial by the Chinese government). We visited one family for quite a while and were certain they were Christians, but we had to be careful about our communication. Kathy and I always admired those families --- we admire you guys too!!
